# How do I stake tokens in the Web3 system?

To stake tokens in Web3, access your staking dashboard [**here**](https://web3.presearch.com/), select the desired staking option (e.g, search, keywords or nodes), and enter the amount of PRE tokens to stake. Connect your external wallet, ensure it holds sufficient PRE tokens, and sign the transaction to interact with the smart contract. You’ll also need ETH in your wallet to cover transaction fees on the Base network.
